Need A Raincheck
Hey guys I promise to give a full run down on Birds draft (loved it) and the end of the Flyers season (absolutely brutal), but I got a lot going on the last couple days (shore on Sunday, lawn mower shopping last night and the Bruce concert tonight). I will be back Wednesday with my draft recap.

Here's some advice, instead of giving up 2 hours of your weekend cutting grass etc. pay someone to cut your lawn. you wake up in the am, go to work, and when you return its done.
anyone who wouldn't trade 30 bucks for 2 hours on the weekend (or anytime for that matter) has either a lot of time on their hands. Say you can't afford it, bullshit, run the math on a new lawnmower and all the shit you need, then factor in all the things you could be doing for the next 30 weeks in those two hours.
While I am waiting for your draft analysis . . . I would like to just say that I completely agree with ananymous regarding your lawn care needs. However, I would just mention that getting TWO HOURS away from wife, kids and everything else EVERY WEEK must be considered. If you did not HAVE to do the lawn - believe me your wife would come up with at least two hours worth of shit for you to do instead of the lawn. So in essence, pick your poison - know every week in summer you HAVE to do the lawn or roll the dice on what your wife will come up with you do instead.
In case you're both interested, I debated the whole "do I get a lawn service" or do it myself. I decided to buy a lawn mower and do it myself mainly for two reasons. The first is the one described by Jones...Whether I spend that two hours mowing a lawn or not, my wife will find something for me to do. I might as well do something that gives me a little exercise and that's point #2...I need something that guarantees I will be exercising. I think this is a good start.
Plus, I will only be mowing half the lawn. The front is sodded and the back was hydroseeded. The grass in the back is just starting to come in. I won't be mowing the back until late in the season.
Catch back w/ me next year, I have a feeling I will be switching to a lawn service, but we'll see.
WE have a friend who made the decision to cut his own and he still catches crap from the wife while he's cutting the lawn. i mean, he's out there busting his hump and the wife is asking for more. i'll pay the $45 and not take a chance. I dread having to do anything on Sunday afternoon and know that's when I would get to cut the grass. Plus, I would hate having another thing hanging over my head every 7 days.
