More Annoying Injury: Barbaro's Hind Leg or Peter Forsberg's Foot?
Of course, the coverage of the Barbaro broken leg was a bit over the top, but it was somewhat understandable as the poor horse's injury was life threatening.
I don't know about you guys, but I've had enough with the Forsberg Right Foot problem and the inability to find a skate and orthotics to fit his foot properly. I read today that 16 different specialists have looked at the foot/skate issue this season alone. This is absolutely ridiculous. I don't think this guy wants to play with this group of stiffs and and wants to get back to Sweden.
Why doesn't he just retire and speed up the process so we can be spared the same story over and over again for the next 4 months?

It would be one thing if he came out and said, "So I was at Delilah's last night and wound up pulling my groin." but this whole "my shoe is f'ing up my foot" thing is really hard to take.
So much for that "streak" the Flyers had. They suck and they can't even be competitive without Forsberg. It is especially embarrasing that other teams have thrown their backup goalie in when the Flyers come to town and are still winning.
