Today, the Phils signed outfielder Geoff Jenkins and J.D. Durbin's illegitimate brother, Chad - a jack of all trades pitcher, as part of their big splurge into free agency this winter.
These two future superstars had the following stats last year:
Jenkins: .255 BA, 21 HR and 64 RBIs with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Durbin: 6-7, 4.88 ERA in 19 starts and 17 relief appearances for the Detroit Tigers.
I have to admit, the aggressiveness of our Phils to go out and sign top notch free agents is simply astonishing. I can't take the excitement.

i like a left handed bat hitting behing Burrell. Also, i like the platoon. remember the old days 1993 w/ our corner OF platoon.
Let Werth play against lefties and the new guy play against righties.
