Phils Salvage the Weekend and the Dover Race Gets Washed Away
Very boring weekend for yours truly. It was nice to see the Phils win two this weekend, but this series does nothing, but cement my feeling that this is a .500 team at best. Also, more to come later on my needless trip to Dover, Delaware for the Nascar race that was eventually cancelled.

I realized something yesterday when I was watching the Phils... Freddie Garcia is Kevin Millwood over weight, sweaty, token free agents that never really wanted to be here, each game he starts takes forever, and can't wait to leave. Garcia wants out and needs to leave ASAP before he really hurts the team, because he is not helping them...
YUP, 1 year rent a dope and he's gone. Funny thing, you think he'd bust it and pitch for his next contract, but instead, he'll put together a few good starts in September when he amazingly finds his fastball. (that i haven't seen reach 91mph) He'll get his money and 5 year deal elsewhere.
Don't look now down 5 in the get away game thanks to Mr. Lieber.
