After nine straight wins, the question has to be asked, doesn't it? Are we in the heads of the Mets? Are the Mets playing the role of the Flyers, while the Phils are doing their best impression of the Flyers?
It's not like the Phils played phenomenally today or beat the Mets up. Of the big three, only J Roll had an above average game today. The Phils just waited until the Mets self destructed and then pounced on the opportunity. Fluky games like today make you wonder if the Phils have some sort of cosmic hold over the Mets.

Of course, as I write this, I am totally paranoid that I'm jinxing the Phils for the rest of the season. As a true Philly Phan you know that you can never get all that confident with any of our teams as the other shoe could drop at any moment. But for once, why don't we gloat on our successes?!?
How wonderful was it to see those New Yawkers squirming again? The best part of this series is that the Mets don't have the opportunity to throw their beloved Johan at us. They'll have to wait to when they come to CBP April 18-20.
