By playing tonight against the Caps, there is no explanation necessary for Patrick Thoresen's testicular fortitude.
Ok, in case you missed it, Thoresen took a shot to the nuts in Game 1 that broke his cup. Yes, you read that right. It broke his cup. He went to the hospital with bruised balls and then played tonight five days later.
He didn't score tonight, but played a hard nosed, gritty game. Nice job, Patrick. Nice job.

Any time the phrase "almost lost a testicle" shows up in an article, you know the guy's in bad shape.
This guy provides nothing to the lineup. I thought we agreed on this? Has he scored a goal yet for the Flyers?
