Sorry the inconvenience, but we had technical difficulties at Philly Sports Phan this weekend and the beginning part of the week. I have been pretty frustrated by my inability to comment on the following:
-the bitter loss by the Birds to the Saints on Sunday (which I predicted incorrectly);
-how I flipped out on some woman, with a really bad boyle on her top lip, at the Landmark on Sunday during the game;
-the Flyers horrible start;
-the Phils making Cholly hire three former managers as coaches to rein him in;
-my comparison of Michael Lewis to Pat Burrell;
-the ridiculous University of Miami brawl;
-the unbelievable Bears come back last night; and
-Rutgers’ ascension to #19 in the polls!
Unfortunately, prior commitments have me booked up solid and unable to speak to my audience, which apparently has grown to 7 people now that my mom is reading. I highly recommend that no one ever take three graduate courses, while working full time and trying to keep up a blog. Right now, I’m living on 3 and a half hours of sleep and lots of coffee, but I’ll stop complaining. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel, I’m going on vacation to Cabo San Lucas the week of October 20-27 so I the site will be inactive until 10/28. (Yahoo!!!)
In any event, I hope to get my responses out for the first “Next Question!” segment before I leave, so be on the lookout on Thursday night/Friday morning. I got some good stuff to comment on from you guys.
