En Fuego!

When Philadelphia athletes go on hot streaks like the one Scott Hartnell is on right now, I wish Dan Patrick was still doing Sports Center highlights. With the way Hartnell has played over the last six games, DP would start the hightlights like this:

Let's get to the Flyers/Islanders highlights, but first let's talk about Scott Hartnell. With nine goals in his last six games, he has shown that you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him. Dare I say, he's en fuego.
I've seen some Phils get this hot over the last couple years, but I really can't remember any Flyers having a short stretch like this except maybe Keith Primeau's 2004 playoff run. The funny thing is that Hartnell started out the year looking like a complete bust. It took him 15 games to score a goal and that goal was an empty netter. Now, he looks like the second coming of Cam Neely.

Can he keep it up? Probably not, he doesn't seem to have that kind of scoring skill, but with the best of the East coming up the next three games (Senators, Devils and Penguins) they're going to need someone to step it up.

One of the best down (and handily), two to go. Tomorrow's game should be interesting, considering how they're playing.

F'ing Devils.

I'll be at that Pens game. We'll see how they do without Sid the Kid.
