First Half Observations

Ok, we go into the half tied at 10, which ain't so bad considering how unready this team appeared to be at the start of the game.

Here are some thoughts:

-D Mac ain't 100% yet. He is considerably slower when trying to avoid the rush. He also doesn't seem confident with Reggie Brown or Curtis yet.

-B West is still the most lethal weapon on this team.

-G Lew is not a punt returner...I can't believe I'm about to say this....Cut him and bring back Reno. At least he catches the ball.

-On the bright side, JR Reed is a pretty competent kick returner.

-The defense really looks ready to play. I'm really surprised.

-Sheldon Brown looks like a different player this year.

-Jason Avant can play a little bit.

-Sean Considine actually laid the wood to someone. Frankly, I'm shocked.

-Brent Celek CAN'T pass block. He's not ready for prime time yet.
