The easy thing to do would be to pick a 35-14 Eagles loss. However, the more I think about it, I think this is the week that the Birds finally show some pride and win a game. Yes, it will be difficult with all the injuries, but I see an ugly, slug it out victory. For some reason, I keep having visions of that whacky Chargers game a couple years ago when the Birds needed a blocked kick for a TD, as well as a phantom fumble call to win a game.
I see a 17-16 Eagles victory. Call me crazy. I'm being cautiously optimistic.
Christ, they have to win this game or it will be real, real ugly around here and I'll be counting the days to hockey season.
