Even though it is only week 2, the Birds really need to get a victory tonight. Jeez, I really don't want to think what things will be like around this city should they lose.
Quite simply, I just don't see Jason Campbell beating the Birds on the road. I think D Mac will make enough plays to get a win. Seriously, it isn't difficult for this team to look worse on offense.
I'm also interested to see if last week's defensive effort was a fluke or not. The Skins don't have a great passing game, but they have two high quality RB's. We should have a better feel for whether this defense can stop the run after Portis and Betts take a crack at them.
Overall, I see the Birds doing enough to win. A final of 23 to 14 is where I see this one ending up.

Nice prediction. Just reverse the team names and you were pretty close. Can we just agree that the Eagles stink and the quarterback is done so that we can move on to the Flyers and the rest of the Phillies season?

McNabb is awful right now and we need to revert back to the offense that carried us thru the later half of last year. O Line needs to get after people and we'll need all 3 backs to contribute.
Defense is fine, but we need to find a DE that can get to the QB. Everyone bitches about the Freak but how about Darren Howard. Does the guy exist?
They do still play hockey. And the Flyers beat up on the Devils last night in the first preseason game.
