Eagles' Mini-Camp: Rousing Success

To me, mini camp is a glorified walk through. If we had a real baseball franchise in town, it would probably be mostly overlooked. Anyhow, when you get through one of these camps and no one gets hurt or is holding out over a contract impasse, then it has to be considered a success.

Really, I can't think of measuring these camps in any other way.

Since this city is all Birds, all the time, you will be happy to know that according to Eagles' flunky, Dave Spadaro:

This was the first of four camps before training camp. The rookies now stay around and condition, study, work out and prepare for the May 24 Rookie Camp. After that is a camp -- technically called Organized Team Activities -- for selected veterans and rookies and then another OTA for all veterans and rookies.
"Organized Team Activities"? Who the eff came up with this tag? It must have been a lawyer and the term was created to get around some players' union rule. Gotta love the shrewd NFL team of lawyers. They are as creative as the day is long.
